e-brake rattle help!

hey everyone,

since i installed my short throw shifter, ive had a few rattle issues. i fixed the rattles coming from the shifter area, but now have a persistent rattle coming from the e-brake. specifically, it is the metal button you depress to raise and lower the brake. its driving me nuts! holding the e-brake stops the rattle, but im not going to be holding the brake every time i drive. does anyone know how to fix this or had this happen to them?

Search 'short shifter rattle' and there are a few threads that talk about resolving various rattles post STS install.
