Looking to pick up a 2.5i here in a week. Wondering if anybody out there has done the cold air intake mod and if they think it's worth doing? If so, please include manufacturer

Nope. Stock intake with clean paper filter is just fine up to way more power than any 2.5i can dream of

^Pretty much what they said. A dry panel filter with the stock intake is the best intake system you'll get with the 2.5i. I personally purchased the AVO; AEM and aFe make one as well:

Avoid the oiled filters so you don't have to worry about MAF sensor problems.

CAI if you want some induction noise to listen to every time you open her up. Can get old after a while though.....
