I just bought my legacy 2 weeks ago and im having an issue with the trunk relase button on my key. it worked once or twice and sine then it stopped working. the lock/unlock buttons work fine. could this just need a new battery or what?

Make sure you don't have the trunk cancel switch in the glove box on. The remote only has 1 battery. If it was dead nothing would work. Do the lights flash and car chime?

everything on my key works fine but the trunk button .yeah it was a long shot thinking that the battery was dying but i had to try it ill go look in my glove box

the button in the glove box was in cancel mode...thanks now it wors just fine
