Custom manufactured by Diode Dynamics in-house, acrylic plates and inserts are an excellent way to add a custom look to your interior and engine bay. They are available in a number of colors, and come with 3M automotive mounting tape in order to mount them securely in place. They are custom laser-engraved from 1/16" premium acrylic, with enhanced heat resistance and UV stable finish.

You can add custom text to any design for just $3.00, or send in a custom logo for $5.

All acrylic items come with a full 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you select custom artwork, please send your image after purchase to custom@diodedynamics.com. Include your order number in the subject for fastest processing. Images may be sent in any standard format.

How well do they hold up to a sponge and dishsoap (reasonably gently, not going after it with a scouring pad all idiotic like)? If I get these I can assume the wife will spill on them thats why I ask.

HAHA! I would say pretty well. These are laser engraved so they hold up pretty well as long as you don't use anything abrasive on them. I have these in my GTI and I have actually had to take them out once already to clean. On a side note, the 3M tape we include actually stuck them right back into place although it was a tad hard to get them out since this tape is meant to really hold them in place. My suggestion would be to just wipe them while in place if at all possible.

Last question, I know its kind-of gross, but I was thinking of heart around the subaru symbol (for the wife's OBXT - we recently had a daughter) in PINK on silver (or silver on pink). Any possibility of a custom color/pink for extra $? (If not will probably just make my emblem and go with color you offered already). Forgive my mushiness all over your thread.

I don't think it is gross, it is very kind of you to be thinking about your wife.

Our production team is going to play around with the piece before we have your order it.

We have to make sure the fitment of the logo and heart with work.

We do not have any pink/silver or silver/pink acrylic.

Do you have a different color in mind?

Here is a sample I worked up on the quick with traditional Subaru colors in Blue/Yellow.

Her Outback is silver/grey with black interior so these would work best:

Grey/Pink (Pink/Grey could also work)
Black/Pink (or Pink/Black)

If you can't do those or silver I suppose this color combo works for me but I would like the heart logo to be bigger on the accent (to take up more room). IS THIS SILVER OR ALUMINUM?

We do have an aluminum/black, silver/black or gray/white.

I would go with the silver and black due to her interior black and her car being a silver/gray color.
