Will CBE void CPO warranty?

So I want to install a CBE on my CPO warranty but don't want to void it and was wondering if you guys know if it will void warranty. I called local Subaru dealership and they said it would "because you have to flash the ecu." I'm thinking he was refering to a tune, but I don't plan on tuning it just for a CBE.

The CBE depending on which one is installed, may or may not effect the drivetrain warranty included in the CPO agreement.
For instance a SPT CBE would NOT void the powertrain warranty, since it is a Subaru part.
