as far as I can see we have 4 TGV sensors (05 Legacy GT)

I broke the one closest to the turbo, so rear passenger side one.

Here is a picture of the part numbers.

But from what I can see I can only buy one for the front passenger side or the rear drivers side?

Can someone please help I havent been able to drive my car for a week as I cant find the propper part

There are only two, not four.

It is said that the throttle position sensor is identical to the TGV sensor but don't count on it - it can depend on model year and market.

As for the sensor - it's not specified in the picture you provided, but it's opposite to the actuator designated 14120/14120A. The one opposite to 14120A is easily accessible from the front of the engine while the other is trickier to access.

I hope that this helps.

As for if it is identical to the throttle position sensor (which you can probably figure out by comparing them on the engine you have) you can go here https://www.subaruonlineparts.com/oempartscat.html, select your car model and do a keyword search for Throttle position sensor.

I bought a used set from grimmspeed.com for about $30. 2 sensors and 2 motors and a set of stickers. Quick shipping. I also broke that same one. Let me guess. Trying to access the banjo bolt? Good luck

Ok so the part numbers on the picture I provided are for the actual motors and not the position sensors?

Where can I find a part number for exactly what I need then?

Just be careful when removing the old one, it's mounted with pre-tension (about 90 degrees) on a flat pin and 2 crews holds it in place. If you just rotate it to release the tension first then remove it you get it right since the flat pin only goes into the sensor in steps of 90 degrees.

I would but it requires a custom tune.

Yes it will. Just hold it with your fingers, no tools needed.

well that was a waste of ******* time... theres not enough room between the turbo and the sensor to take it off and I lost the screws trying to get it back in...

I'm looking into TGV deletes now, is there any harm in driving with the deletes without being tuned?
