5th Gen Legacy Steering Wheel Emblem

Hey all,

I recently purchased a 5th gen legacy with a broken steering wheel emblem. Can someone please help point me in a direction where I can purchase one? it looks REALLY tacky without one...so i'm hunting everywhere for one. Please help!

as a cheap alternative until the right one is found, maybe a vinyl sticker from a vendor on here?

I tried to reach out to the dealer and they told me that i'd have to purchase the entire airbag unit that costs $800.00! that's ridiculous! any other options?

Doc Holladay should be able to set you up. I think he has a template for those already.

I believe the steering wheel emblem is integrated into the airbag unit - none of the parts diagrams show it as a separate part... (for either the 2010-2011 or 2012+ designs)

1st I've ever heard of this. Sounds like the airbag deployed...which would then lead me to question the carfax report or the dealer's/seller's representation of the vehicle.

Good call SBT!! But doesn't the airbag erupt from a split down the middle of the steering wheel cover when it deploys?

Actually the car is pretty new, 18k miles. I think that someone had messed with the emblem on the steering wheel. It looked like someone was trying to pull it off, so I tried pushing it back in, and that didn't work... so I pulled it off and the aluminum prong broke off... now i'm stuck with no emblem.

GTEASER - i'll post a pic later this evening so you guys can see what i'm talking about.
