Yeah, I think I'll just do a front mount pretty soon here. I've heard you lose 2psi of boost when running a front mount though, truth to this?
Being that I need my car most days, I went ahead and did a fix last night.
As for the break in my gasket, neatly applied a piece of electrical tape around the two broken ends thus joining them together, and since its job is to seal, this should work just fine, at least temporarily.
I then clamped my end on and strategically clamped down all of the alum tags to hold it on then went over all of them with vice grips, kind of tightening lug nuts pattern.
Took it for a test drive and wow what a difference. Feels stronger than ever, tip top, seemingly, how long this will last is another issue, but for now I'm happy with my free fix. And for the near future, front mount time
