I did a simple search, looked for a while, but from what I could tell, no one has tried aftermarket seats or any seat swaps. Am I wrong? I really hope someone has experimented with some seat ideas.

Just a forewarning those will probably sit really high, as in higher than stock. I own them for my other car and had to pull them out.

Also what are you going to do about the noises and how unhappy the car is going to be when all of the seat electronics are disconnected?

There must be some sort of a hack to make the electronics think that everything is connected up. My hope is to swap out these rubbish seats.

Depends on what seats you put in there. Some aftermarket seats come with all the goodies. Additionally, I've seen 3.3 Ohm resistors being used to quell the airbag sensor. Then, just transfer anything else that needs to. I'll know more if/when I get a new seat.

Regardless of seat you are still going to have the bracket and the sliders, it's going to be high.
