What are the best springs you guys suggest? I Have an 08 2.5i. A guy told me to put STI springs on it, and it would have the perfect look, not to low. I had Tein lowering springs on my previous 98 Legacy, which rode nice, other than when you hit a pothole or speedbump, which sounded like the car was going to break in half.... Let me know guys! I'm also at a crossroads of putting BBS or CCW rims on her after the drop

How low do you want to go? Looking for better handling or looks? Need more details of what you are searching for out of a set of springs to give you a better direction.

Well its for looks, but not to low. I was looking around at STI springs to buy, people been telling me that's the best option. I'm not looking to spend a shit ton of money on coil overs and stuff either.

As you shouldn't. The only reason I am on coil's is because when I got them I was planning on doing a few track event's here and there. Then plan's changed about a month later.
Anywho if you are just looking for a bit lower I would look at H-techs. The one's I used to have were awesome. You could also look for a set of Epic's but they are not going to be easy to find.

Alright good deal, they make springs specifically for 2.5i or will I be searching under 08 GT? I know the Tein springs I had on my 98 lowered it 1.5 or 1.75 inches, and it was just a tad to low, still looked pretty good though.

Thanks for the input. One last thing, CCW rims or BBS? Either way is costly as shit I know, but i'm getting a new job coming up, and i'd like to spend some on my ol girl.

I like the CH's. I had a set of the STI BBS and loved those as well.

Cool, figure I can save a little bit (not much) from the $700 a rim for CCW

Yeah, that price is not worth it for a 2.5i IMO. In fact I would even consider going with BBS LM reps for cheaper if you're into that look.

When i bought new Struts (Koni Yellows) i figured i would lower the car as well. I went with H&R Springs, they dropped the car about 2 Inches all around. I still have about a 2 finger gap between my wheel and fender. Overall its a great setup, i dont bounce around or bottom out on anything. This coming from someone living in NJ where the roads are probably the worst in the country lol
