Very interesting. I've only seen 1 other 5th Gen LGT in Delaware and it was an old guy who went to my church. Wonder if he got tired of it and traded it in.

It was a trade in at willmington subaru. I didnt ask to many questions about the previous owner. Before buying this I knew they where rare but I didnt realize quite how rare. I have seen like 100 legacys since and maybe 2 were turbo and neither were lgt limited. Does anybody know how many of these are actually in the USA?

Lots of people have asked and guessed but we've yet to see any facts.

You actually might be very surprised at how much an AP, and especially with a custom tune, changes this car. With the turbo down low- this setup is proven to spool up very quickly.. may be something to consider (if you haven't tried already)

LGT's and 3.6R's are fairly rare.

3.6 is way more common then the lgt, especially the limited from what I can see.
I'm debating if I should spend any money on this car or if I should just trade it it for an sti. I have seen the difference an ap makes and it sounds sweet but just not sure if I should just save the money and enjoy as is for now.

When i picked my 2012 LGT Limited, it was the last one on dealer lots nationwide the first week of march. Bought mine as a leap year car. Feb 29.

When I bought this I had found 2 other lgt's in the northeast and one in colorado and one 2008 spec b. I started looking seriously on a monday started making calls wed and by friday this was the only one left except the one in CO. So I put a deposit down asap. I was told they had 3 other people that where ready to see the car. It was a challenge.

Not I. My car was sitting on the car lot of the Subaru dealer for 6 months before I got it. Then again it was at the beginning of our current generation.

In the past two years, I've driven about 50,000mi in CA/AZ, and here's what I've seen:
2 LGT's, one was at the dealership being serviced
1 Legacy 3.6r, 2 Outback 3.6r's
999999 2.5i's
When I got my 2010 LGT in fall of 2010, it had a $31,200 msrp, and I paid $24,700, because SOA gave the dealership a $4,000 incentive to get it off the lot since it had been sitting there for so long.
So yeah, they're quite rare.
