So. I got in a little accident, slid into a curb. Front right passenger wheel hit, replaced the lower control arm as well as the hub assembly. I am getting a "grinding" I can hear, and can also feel at my feet when:
* I accelerate to hit a high RPM, let go of gas, and let car slow down not applying brake pressure. So, I guess you can say when the engine/tranny is under stress at high RPM.
It does not do it constantly! I drove it for a while with no issues up until 5 minutes before the destination when I started noticing the noise/feeling at my feet.
Once or twice it made the noise after driving, when I was in Park/Neutral and I revved the engine.
Looking at the car, axle is tight, no rips or tears anywhere, front end all feels tight. Car shifts fine and engine sounds perfect. Noticed a tranny mount bolt was bent, so possibly the mount is loose/twisted, possibly causing metal-to-metal and sending vibration throughout the chassis? Also, maybe just a tiny bit of drive shaft play.Other than that, not sure what it could be. It only does it when I put the car under fairly high stress, as I explained above.
Any help would be great! (IT IS A 5EAT, not a manual)
