My Bionic Woman Super Strenght Broke My Gas Cap Off

So, here's the thing.

I was pumping gas the other day, and when I unscrewed the gas cap...

The tether connecting the gas cap to the door snapped off.

Can anyone help me out with the part number for the gas cap and tether?

Or any other solution?

Yea, so what ?

I think this is the first car I've owned with a tether. Do what all us old people used to do, put the cap on the gas pump while your pumping gas then put it back on.

Or contact Fredbeans and order the parts. They are Vendors here.

Why waste the money ? the tether does effect how the car runs.

The tether and cap are one piece. I know because I had to replace my gas cap. the clicking mechanism inside the cap exploded into millions of pieces.

Mine came that way when I bought the car. I just put a kink in the tether and hang it from the locking tap at the end of the door.

You can place it on the pump as was mentioned above, but I sell a lot of gas caps to people that do.

Sooper strenght?

Just do the mod in the cheap/free mod thread where you cut up a paint tray and attach it to the inside of the door. No tether, but it'll hold your gas cap right there.
