My 2005 LGT.. 5spd manual, w/ performance group one (pedals, shift knob, short shifter)
My main (small) complaints about the vehicle after a few days are the mirrors are a litty stubby, and theres no folding rear seat, just a little passthrough. Thats about it.
The power and handling are superb. This is my first AWD car, and it drives like a planted RWD car. No torque steer or anything like that. It can be convinced to slightly oversteer, but mostly its quite neutral.
I used to have an '00 Z28, and more recently an '02 Jetta 1.8T... I think this car is a good compromise between the two, and obviously with lots of things that are better than either.
And stealth... this was a big factor in my attraction to this car. It doesn't have many tipoffs to the fact that its fast, especially from a distance. And being AWD, you can haul ass without worrying about wheels chirping and attracting the ire of law enforcement.
And the insurance is cheaper than the Jetta.. how about that!
