I need an unswitched (always on) 12VDC power source somewhere in the interior of the car. The back (I have a wagon) would be best, but anywhere would do.

The cigarette lighter, and the 12V source in the center console are both switched, ie. only on when the ignition is on.

Every fused circuit in the fuse box at the driver's left knee is also switched.

Brake lights, rear wiper, will both only be on when the brakes or wiper is operating.

Any suggestions.......?

Thanks!

What do you plan on running with this unswitched power source?

There's one on the radio harness. You could always go to the ignition switch in the steering column, left side by the turn signals, that one's huge.

Everyone's recommending various 12v sources without knowing what sort of load is going on it
