Okay guys, time to expand. I understand that the tear down.....literally of tail light can be a challenge. They are not assembled the same way as the headlights which we have become so familiar with. I am going to modify a single tail light but would like to gauge ideas and interest. The first light will be an 05-07 version.
Damn those older guys.....okay I have an 05 so for me it just makes sense.
So what would you like to see done to the lights? I aim to please and would like to get an idea before I get too off track. I have a design in my head but I do not want to influence the masses....so with that, lets discuss!
Options
LEDs, what pattern?
Lens modifications?
Cleared? Not sure how much?
Tinted yeah sure!
I want these to look as close to factory in appearance as I can but I want the lighting improved greatly!

I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. Anything unique like this i'm usually pretty interested in.

I keep thinking about the same deal.. I was split between a BMW tail light with acrylic rods..
or a BMW tail light in all LED that goes with the flow of the car:

Depending on what you come up with...I'll probably be first in line if you do something for the '08-'09 crowd.
(Stupid SUBARU...changing body styles every 2 years...)

W1CKED, I will start messing with the 08/09 next.....I agree.....damn change. You will be first in line...... if you like the work .
Currently I do not have plans for a wagon. This is simply because an aftermarket light is already offered. This does not mean it can not or will not happen....just in the back of my mind.
