UHP/GT All-Season Tire Choices

Didn't want to hijack a similar thread about Touring tires so I'm creating this new one for Ultra/High Performance, Grand Touring tires.

I used the search function and came up with a few ideas. Based on those I wanted to get your opinions about which UHP/HP or GT All-Season to pickup to replace an ther OE tires? Should I stick with with 225/45/18 or go 235/45/18 on a 7.5" rim?

I have an additional set of summer Conti ExtremeContact DW that's on right now but I want to switch to an All-Season. Happy with the Contis but not tied to any particular brand.

I just bought some Eagle GTs and love them! Super smooth and quiet! I previously had yokohama envigor which were one-directional.

I think with all the rebates and black Friday stuff...I paid $750 installed, aligned, 3 year warranty with free alignments! STEAL!

I'll make a tire thread this weekend.

Aww who cares, give the noobie a break.

UHP is a good tire. If you're looking for ultra grip and don't care about tire wear for your current price zone, Hankook EVO v12. These tire grip, but the tires wear down fast. Had a set that lasted me close to 18k miles on my daily driver.

We've sold and installed a lot of tires for our clients over the years. We are also pretty close with our clients so they always give us feedback. We've installed probably 20-40 sets of the DWS tires and a bunch of other sets for folks. The feedback from people on the DWS is they are pretty fantastic as an AS tire.
