gt_ltd Posted June 3, 2005 Share Posted June 3, 2005 I am organizing a meet for us CO members (join even if you don't own a Legacy/Outback yet!), and here's the plan: When: Saturday June 11th 2005, 2PM Where: Deer Creek Canyon What: We will first meet in the Kohls parking lot near the northeast corner of C-470 and Kipling Pkwy, then drive up to Deer Creek Canyon (and of course take lots of pics!!), and finally have dinner in Denver (there is a new Chinese restaurant near Federal and Alameda that both atcheng and gt_ltd recommend). Rockinblue Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 For those asking where Deer Creek Canyon Rd is, do a mapquest search for Deer Creek Canyon Rd. and S. Platte Canyon Rd. Once you pass under C470 while going south on Wadsworth it's the first right turn. I have only been to one of the picnic areas at Deer Creek Canyon Park.
