Did my UOA to determine if 5K change intervals with Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 is well accepted..seems like it is. Same problem with all the other UOA's on the board...high number in copper. I wonder why that is...

Your copper reading isn't even high....mine was 24-27 (2 UOAs) on a 3500 mile run both times.

Otherwise, yes, it's a perfectly boring UOA and there's no indication of a problem with running 5k ocis....

There is a theory that our copper oil coolers tend to oxidize for awhile and therefore will spit out more dissolved copper into the oil than most engines.

I haven't seen a better theory yet
