I've got an '05 GT stage 2 (UP,DP,AP Stg2) at 89k miles. Rear diff had been crunching for a few miles and now its freely spinning (one-side only) wheels when going around corners etc. I'm wondering how much a stock replacement is, what my other options are (stronger diffs available?) and their prices - I'm confident i can do the install myself.

Ugh, I just cant handle having my foot on the floor & my rear wheel is just spinning - I feel like i'm driving some crappy rwd car that doesn't have a LSD...which is clearly not optimal!

Thanks guys...

R180 is stronger than the R160 that is in the car but you would need 07+ Spec B Axles and you would have to regear it too. Or you could just go ahead and do the 6 speed swap and be done with it
