Im going to document my Bride seat install here. I Haven't seen very many after market seat installs In the Legacy so far so I;ll be one of first ones and let you guys know How it goes.

I've removed the passenger so far just to take a look and wow  there is a bunch a electronics and crap down there. I know I can Disable the airbag light with a 3.3ohm resistor and I might be transfer the passenger detection system over. I also have to relocated the seatbelt buckle to the new brackets. I will give up the heated seats since I've used them maybe twice in 5 years so thats not a problem.

One thing I noticed was how fu**ing heavy the stack seat was I weighs 67lbs compared to the 25lbs new seats.

Well I don't have the new brackets yet, Still being made. So here a re the pics so far

This is looking to be more of a PIA than I thought. it turns out the occupant control unit as 4 individual sensors one at each corner of the seat instead of just a pad under the cushion like the WRX.

The driver seat should be easier...

...I already have '04 STi seats in my legacy, but they are too small for me. I am going to be putting in Corbeau's CR1 wide (6' - 250lbs.) ...they have a bracket:

E2100T (Driver Side) E2101T (Passenger Side)

Installing the bracket should make your Bride seat installation a lot easier/smoother!

Make sure you have pics of the resistor installation, I would like to use it for my reference....and do you need to reset the ecu after you install the resistors?

Good luck,

are you looking to sell your oem seat? i wonder how much shipping on something like that would be. non spec b seats suck. i slide around. i think cloth would actually be better.

Yeah I would love to sell my OEM seats to get some money back.

Subscribed. If you get this to work, I may solicit you for some help when i get back in several months :D

Yeah definitely

Canadian Brides are fake sir. Be prepared for some horrific fading

And you know this From personal Experience? Because I know a few people with these exact same seats in their cars for over a year now and they still look great.

Impressions so far they are pretty comfy, really hold you in on those fast sharp corners. Only thing is bigger people will not fit in my passenger seat they will have to sit in the back. Oh well no more fat chicks. lol.

Another thing my airbag light is still on.. guess the resistors did not work. I really don't care since my boost gauge covers it anyways and the rest of the airbags still work fine.

Are those white pieces on the sides of the seats reinforcments that came with the seats? Ugly. If I ignore those, it looks nice but getting in and out with those monster bolsters has gotta be a PITA. My wife would bitch to high heaven!

Those "white" pieces look like stainless steal.

I love the seats I would of gone for something a little more subtle but I think those look great.
