Slim Digital HID Conversion Kits

This Precision HID conversion kit contains everything you need to convert your factory halogen headlamps into HID, High Intensity Discharge.

Manufacturer: Precision Lighting Co. uses German lighting technology in production, and is one of the most reputable companies in HID. Ballast: In any HID kit, the ballasts are the most important component. At Diode Dynamics, we conduct extensive electrical measurement to determine which ballasts to offer. We offer two excellent options, a high-quality slim digital ballast from Precision HID, and the industry-leading ballast from HYLUX. They are both the smallest you will find, about the size of a pack of playing cards. Included are the features of automatic reverse polarity protection, EMI circuit shielding, hot restrike protection, and is fully waterproof and shockproof. It has all of the speed and arc control accuracy that comes with the new digital technology, to ensure long bulb life. While both will provide excellent results, the Precision ballast is meant to be a very good economical option, while the HYLUX ballast will provide the very best quality available.

Bulb: The bulbs included are produced by Precision HID, and are laser-aligned for easy alignment and installation, as well as long bulb life. The bulb temperatures are rated accurately in Kelvin temperature, and have an industry-standard 2500 hours of estimated bulb life, which should outlast your vehicle. We offer 3000K (pure yellow), 4300K (pure white), 6000K (ice white), and 8000K (ice blue). We do not offer deep blue or purple colors, so don't ask!

Warranty: Do not be fooled by overrated "lifetime" warranties from other manufacturers and distributors. The warranty is only as good as what the company actually replaces. Our warranty is through Diode Dynamics, LLC, so you can be assured that you will get fast and friendly service should you have any problems. In addition to the 1-year full warranty included with all of our products, your HID kit comes with a limited lifetime warranty. This lifetime warranty covers the ballasts and wiring for the lifetime of your HID kit.

Shipment: We carry our own inventory, so no waiting for them to be shipped from overseas, or waiting on big, unreliable suppliers to ship them. They ship right from our own inventory, in St. Louis, Missouri, usually the same day you order.

sounds too good to be true, and will you actually back your lifetime warantee? I just got screwed by another vendor selling cheap HID kits offering the same type of stuff.

That's what I hear from people all the time, and so I am very angered by eBay sellers and other sellers that I know are just putting up a "warranty" to sell kits.

Yes, it will be backed in full. For the over three years we've been in business, we've been backing our 1 year warranty on all products, and this lifetime warranty is no exception. Come back 3 years from now and I'll replace your ballast if something goes wrong. As a young tuner/modder myself, I know what it's like selecting products, and I care about each and every customer and never "screw over" anyone.

I was noticing that you dont have an option for 5000k bulbs on the HID kit, any chance you are going to offer that temp in the future?

I can get the 5000K's for you if you'd like, it would be about a week. I just don't carry them because in order to keep our prices low, I have to limit the inventory to the most popular temperatures.

Yes, plug and play. With almost all kits all you need to drill two holes in the dust caps to install, takes 15-20 minutes.
