You mention fresh turbo... That always throws up red flags to me. How many miles were on the original? How did that turbo die? Make /sure/ that your banjo bolt filters are clean/removed/replaced. Make sure that the stock up pipe is out of the car, the 05-06 had a cat that'll break down around 80k and throw shards into the turbo. (Assuming this is a possible reason the OE turbo died.)
You'll want to make sure reliability is a top priority since this is your DD. Check the CV boot under the downpipe, check the end links of both front and rear sway bars, check how much oil your car burns, check if uses any coolant, make sure the wheel bearings are fine, make sure there's no rot starting on the rear dog legs.
Those are the first things you'll want to address.
In terms of OTHER things, if you're going to start modding, check this out.
I'd personally start with the up pipe, then exhaust, remove the silencer in the airbox if you wish to have more spool and growl.
