Thought I'd make a thread mainly for me to document what I do to it. No crazy plans yet as this is my new daily and I have a 400+hp s2000 for my need for speed.

Anyways I picked up a 2008 Legacy GT Limited 5MT 2 weeks ago now.

Had a little more miles than I wanted but seemed like a pretty good deal.
It had 67k miles when I got it. 2 owner with great service records at Subaru every 3750 miles up until about 50k miles.

I got it for 15k from a chevy dealership.

Here are a couple of pictures of the car stock when I picked it up (Not much has changed).. yet..

First mod I did was add one of my shift knobs (Moddiction textured black Anvil) as well as a Kartboy Short shifter. Made a huge difference!!
The combo makes it sit a couple of inches lower than stock and have some really nice precise short shifts.

I also got the Diode Dynamics full interior white led kit to brighten things up a bit.

I just bought a Cobb AP yesterday which should be here early next week the latest I would think. I will be buying a CNT catted downpipe shortly as well as a tmic but not sure which one I will go with for that yet.

Once I get those in I will be getting a stage 2 tune which should be a decent amount of power for my daily!

Most likely will be picking up some koni yellows and a rear and possibly a front sway bar as the handling is not to my liking currently.

Here is a couple pictures of my S2000 as well which will now be my nice weather/weekend toy car.

Love love love the S2k. I really want to replace my 99 hardtopped NB with one, but I can't justify the price difference/insurance.

Grats on the Legacy, you're gonna love it.

awesome legacy! Stage 2 plans sound good though you dont really need a TMIC with just a downpipe +stage 2 map. Would help a little but that money could go elsewhere!

Thanks guys! Don't think the gains are significant enough to go tmic route?

I don't want any exhaust mods besides the catted downpipe as I want this car to remain quite!

Are any if the silicone inlets etc needed at stage 2 levels to prevent them from blowing off frequently or anything?

As per Brentuning I think I will pick up a Grimspeed EBCS and possibly a Forge BPV to get in there for my tune as well.

I just figured it would gain some power with the lower IAT's as well as not have to worry about the endtanks popping off.

Yeah I saw that. I might just go with an upgraded tmic anyways. I'm sure it will gain some since it does have a much larger core.

Did you change the front and rear shifter bushings when you installed the Kartboy short shifter, thats a nice little upgrade.

Thanks guys. I only did the short shifter and shift knob not the bushings yet. I might get around to those later but at the moment I am happy with this combo. The shift knob lowers the height a lot as well so sits plenty low for me and the weight feels nice too.

Just ordered a Grimmspeed EBCS last night. Found a used Perrin tmic I might jump on as well.
After that all I'll need is a catted downpipe and I'll be ready for my stage 2 tune.

I'm hoping to up the power a bit on my S2000 now that it is weekend car. Going to shoot for 450whp this spring I think with a couple tweaks. Currently making 406whp at 12 psi.
