Hugo L.
I generally let my car heat up before leaving for work during winter. The Legacy doesn't get very hot very fast, but it's not too bad. However, I noticed that when it's cold out (like around 0°F or something), it does blow hot air when I drive around town, but the air becomes lukewarm at best the minute I come to a stop at a light (or stuck in traffic). I have to rev the engine get it to blow hot air again. It's as if the cooling system is too efficient. Anyone else have that problem?

bmx045
or you're low on coolant. remember water output increases as rpms increase, therefore any hot coolant will flow through the heater core increasingly when system pressure is built and flow increases. At a stand still, if your shit is too low, the flow will probably be less than optimal. jack the car up only on the passenger side and open the turbo tank, burp the hoses and recheck level, you can also do this while the car is running
doccrowley
check your coolant levels. ^^^^^
