Tire recommendations for SoCal OBXT

Through my searching it's pretty obvious that most of the tire threads are centered around the Legacy and not the Outback. Even the OB tire threads seem to spend a good deal of time talking about performance in adverse conditions (i.e. snow, rain).

I need some advice on which tires to buy as I live in Southern California and I rarely drive in the rain let alone snow.

Here are my tire priorities:

1. Treadlife
   
2. Price
   
3. Name Brand
   
4. Appearance
   

I'm not a leadfoot and I don't take my OB to the track.

Can someone recommend a good tire (stock rims 225 55 17)?
