Impulse
i'm pretty sure we got 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears, and our discs are bigger than the WRXs also.
orwrx
Thanks, then I will just paint them red, haha! No, just kidding, no rice on my LGT!
CreoSTi
i'm pretty sure we got 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears, and our discs are bigger than the WRXs also. LGTs have 2 piston fronts and 1 piston rears. The front rotor is larger than on the WRX. -Mike-
Xenonk
the GT piston size is also larger than the Subaru 4-pistons. Keefe
rougeben83
Just to summarize WRX 2-piston/ FHI 4 pots = 11.4" rotors LGT brakes = 12.5(?)" rotors 4pots being a one piece design w/ no floating caliper, means a more direct brake feel, LGT brakes being larger and more mass, makes them more fade resistant. I think that does it...
praedet
Our floating 2 piston front and 1 piston rear is the equivalent of a fixed 4 piston front 2 piston rear...

Thanks Pat From what I understand, the 04 STi rear brembos used a different mounting point than other subarus, that's why you needed the hubs. The 05+ STi's not only have the mounting point issue but they use a different bolt pattern altogether (5x114.3 vs 5x100) than other subarus, so you'll have 5x100 in the front and 5x114.3 in the rear. Pat
Ok then i'll go with 04 STi brake. That's way i'll keep my 5x100 bolt patern. Now will my stock 17 inch fit with the STi brake?

I don't think they do. One of the biggest problems STI owners have in wheel selection is getting one to fit over the brembo's. Can't really tell by offset and width alone.
