TK0
Hello all, I'm new to the Forum and have been looking into buying my first Subaru. I've come across a 2005 Legacy GT Limited with 55k miles. I have yet to see it in person but it looks very clean from the pictures. Claims to have rarely driven it in the snow, no rust. I am going to run a carfax on it later today. In regards to mods, it has an Cobb accessport tuner with a down pipe and cat-back exhaust. I am not sure if the DP and cat-back are of the Cobb brand. I realize looks can be deceiving so here I am wondering what I should look/listen for when I drive the car this weekend. I've been reading about head gasket issues typically around 100,000 miles and knowing the seller has a few things done, I can't imagine it was babied for all 55,000 miles. Any advice is appreciated. TK0
Was asking $12,000. Came with a Cat-back exhaust and downpipe (not sure the brand). Brakes were re-done recently, tires will need replacing soon, shifting was smooth. Test drove it this past weekend and purchased the car for a little less than his asking price.
