Also, you can upgrade from DVD based Kenwood unit to SD-card based Kenwood unit which I believe can use downloadable up-to-date maps. The NAV in our new Outback is much better, just tell it the address and it's loads it in seconds. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
