JayPitch
I had an idea. Instead of a cold air intake could you just put a cone filter on the throttle with or without the MAF and take the air dam out of the hood scoop?
suprastarr
I don't think the car would run without the Mass Air Flow sensor (maf) and as for removing the air dam and just having a cone filter under it if its raining bad you run the risk of sucking water in your engine which is no good. But this is just my opinion if my info is wrong someone please correct me.
Kevlar_07
if you don't want to kill your engine and want a CAI do the hybrid intake mod. That is the only way to avoid the issues that are caused by cold air intakes. Any thing you want to know about them is in the following link http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1471819
DGR81
I found these http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?cid=226&pid=1211 http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?cid=150&pid=1700 I might get the CAI. because the short ram just sucks in heat from the engine bay.
