ResidentRedneck Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 so im catless and straight piped. due to a cracked manifold, im gonna be re-doing my entire exhaust. my question is... can i have the second o2 sensor tuned out? i have a CEL and my cruise light flashing because of the CEL, and i really hate looking at it and i miss my cruise. so can i have the o2 tuned out? i already looking into foolers, but nothing for a 2.5i. As the downstream O2 sensor is purely for catalyst efficiency you could have a map augmented to always make the ECU happy and not read the input of that sensor. or Use a O2 emulator or revert to OEM exhaust using the appropriate sensors Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
