zepplinluvr2
So I've noticed that my clutch has been acting weird. It releases lower, and then sometimes it releases all the way at the top. I also hear a noise when I first start the car. Throw out bearing? What do you guys think it is? I don't think it's the clutch pad itself because it still grabs hard. I checked the hydraulic fluid on the slave cylinder and it is full. Any suggestions before I install a new clutch and find out that it's not the clutch? haha. I don't want that to be the case, but what happens when the throw out bearing goes out? Signs and symptoms? Any help is appreciated. I have a 2005 LGT Limited Wagon. HELP!!
wurkenman
Maybe snout wear on the mainshaft of the trans. Search this. If you woke up today, you have another chance to do it right.
zepplinluvr2
That stuff is very confusing for me. I did some research and still don't know. What are the symptoms of a bad throw out bearing on these cars? That noise it makes when it's cold, when I start it, makes me think that that is it. rob-2
If it's not too much trouble I'd bleed the system before I tore it part for a new clutch, unless with mileage you're pretty certain you're going to need replacing.
iNVAR
My vote goes to TOB. Better check before something explodes and wrecks your snout.
