Oil leak near water pump.

Just noticed there is oil leaking somewhere around water pump, nothing major yet but it runs down the timing belt housing onto the oil filter access door so it is all wet. Anyone knows if this is something I can get fixed under extended Gold warranty plan?

Sounds like your cam/crank seals need to be replaced. Depending if you're due for water pump/timing belt might as well get it all done at the same time

I have almost 70k on the car, so not due quite yet but I'll see if I can work out a deal with the dealer that will be doing the work - in case they have to dismantle the parts you mentioned I can just pay them for the new parts and hopefully they won't charge me for labor as warranty pays for it (if the leak is covered and it sounds like it should be). I was thinking to may be sell the car before timing belt replacement was due but if this works out I may end up keeping it a bit longer.
