OTD (Out The Door) Price

I am in a market for the 2008 Legacy GT Spec B.

I have used the search button but could not find this so I am asking here.

What is the price level of the OTD price for this car?

I am getting somewhere about $32,500 for the car.

Is this expensive or are there any better deals out there?!

Thank you so much!:spin:

I've been researching 08 Spec Bs too and invoice + destination with no options is $32,179.00

So assuming you are getting no extra options then you are very close to invoice with that price quote.

By the way, does that price include any options and if so, which?

when you walk into a dealership ask to see the invoice of the car unless they are scared they should have no problem showing you invoice on the car.

when i talk to my customers i tell them whatever price they are quoted on the car to figure TTL is about 10-12 percent more and obviously it depends on where you live and if there any market adjustments. at least at my dealership we have no problem showing customers the invoice for the vehicle. Now that doesnt mean that you will pay invoice but at least you know we arenot trying to screw you over.

i don't think I can wait 6 months..... hehehe..

The price that I am getting quoted is the car itself, prep fee, and destination charge that amounts up to that price ($32,500).

I wouldn't know what options to get since the Navi and everything else is already included.

Don't want the wing since I am looking for a differen aftermarket ones.

I already have the WeatherTech Floor Mats (So they can't charge me like $100 for floor mats!)

Just wondering since my dealer states that they are trusting ones.

Well, I am sure that all dealer would say that so I am here to discuss!

Any more inputs?! :)

I see, so it doesn't include tax.

Did you email a bunch of dealers around your area? I always email at least 6-8 dealers and then negotiate based on who responds first and proximity to my home. So, I will give the dealer who gives the most timely response to either match or beat the lowest quote. As soon as they do that, I will give them the first chance at a sale. If they won't, I move on to the next preferred dealer.

My Spec B came with spoiler, short shifter, and auto-dimming mirror/homelink/compass. MSRP is $35,772 including destination. Invoice is $32,978. My sale price was $32,235.81 so $742 below invoice. This is pretty much a little bit lower than the VIP Price.

Now, there is a lot of Subaru dealers in the Chicago area so maybe competition is tronger. However, I think you can maybe do a little better.... at least invoice or a few hundred below invoice.

I guess I can squeeze a little more out of my dealer then.

Man, I love forum like this.

It makes a "Nego Hater" like me a little easier to step up at the dealer!

I am sure when I speak the the people there, I can lower couple more hundreds of dollars.

That's more money toward my......Motorcycle Tire.....haha

Either way, great inputs people, thank you so much!
