rltrock
Does anyone think the GT could be a theft target for its engine or turbo components? Isn't the WRX STI targeted because these parts are sought after by the honda racerboys? I ask this because I have an Integra Type R which is like a gazelle sitting in the middle of the African plains waiting to get devoured by the lions. Racerboys just cannot help themselves. More Type R's have been stolen for parts than still exist on the road today.
Drift Monkey
No. Subarus aren't typically targeted as far as I know. Turbos can be used in any car, granted there will be fabrication required. I don't think you'll have to fear the ricerboys, really.
Guest *Jedimaster*
WRX's were pretty heavily targeted for a while.
Dr. Zevil
Yeah, there was a guy here in Madison that got his WRX stripped. I couldn't believe it. I would have freaked out if that would have happened to me.

subiekid
maybe if they had twin scrol turbos, but i doubt it
akm3
The engine is a big enough PITA to swap into another Impreza, the Honda-ricer-thieves won't bother with it. However, the Wrx-ricer-thieves have been slicing and dicing quite a few STi's and other WRX's. I think the Legacy will probably fly under their radars. -Allen
outahere
The 2.5L turbo engine would fit nicely in a sand rail. So don't park your car near any dunes! :D :P
