landark
I didn't know it was coming but stumbled upon it last week. Looks like they are in the final stages before stocking the shelves and will probably be open in the next couple months. I figured I'd give everyone else who wasn't aware a heads up. It'll be off Sterling Blvd. near the DMV across from Safeway. Anyone have a grand opening date?

Moderators BarManBean Posted March 22, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2013 For some reason I thought there was already one located in Reston...did that close or was that a complete figment of my imagination? landark
If there was I never knew about it. I looked them up every once in a while over the last few years and the only ones around were the Gaithersburg and Hoodbridge ones.
Fire Away
There is one in Laurel also but that is a haul from Sterling. My general impression of the Harbor Freight stores, with my only experience being the Laurel location, is that they are generally well stocked but they don't keep everything Harbor Freight sells in stock. An example is the drain plug socket set. I looked high and low a few days ago for one in every isle that had anything to do with vehicles, hand tools, nuts, bolts, and fixtures and found nothing. landark
Went by this morning to check on it and it's open. Amazingly enough, there was some stuff on sale. Who'da thunk?
