I just bought an '01 LGT Ltd(BE) and hade some questions(it's big switch from the Honda's, but i love it). the car is currently an ej25 5MT, now i've been reading up about the ez30, am i to understand that it would bolt right in to my BE? i assume a new ecu and wiring harness are definately needed, could this all just be pulled directly from an outback H6? also can this motor mate up with one of the 6mt's? will the whole package fit in my car? i seem to remember hearing something about not being able to put the 6mt in a BE due to copatability problems with the rest of the drive train? any ways my pipedream is a super clean H6 6MT BE Ltd.....maybe even forced induction at some point. i need more knowledge, anything anybody's got that can help is much appreciated. p.s. a somewhat unrelated question that's been irking me..... if subaru has a variable valve timing system, can you get a controller to make it kick in earlier? you know like the vafc controllers does for honda vtec? thanks!!
