09LegacyDude
This is kind of a stupid question but I am going to ask it anyway. I have a 2009 legacy with 34,000 miles and a 5 speed. I decided to try and sell it, my asking price is 15,000. I checked cars.com and craigslist and my car is very competitively priced with other legacy's in my area. Is 15,000 to high or an asking price? thanks for the help.
NWSPECB
Gonna need a little more info on the car to give a good answer. Based simply off of what you have provided though, no.

dgoodhue
I looked up your car's dealer value on Nada. If its a spec edition the dealer value is 14500 and trade in ~11000. If it is base 2.5i, the retail value is just over 13k and 10k trade in. This is assuming good condition. In short it is usually unrealistic to get dealer price on a private sale. Usually a private sale falls between dealer retail pricing and trade in value. This is just how I would price you car is if it was mine. If you have spec edition maybe aim for 12500 selling price and ask 13500. A manual transmission will also reduces the potential buyers as well. With a little bit of luck, you can find a buyer looking for a MT.
