mazda 3 vs WRX Hatchback

I am looking to buy a secondary car. Does anybody know difference between Mazda 3 Hatchback vs WRX Hatchback? Thank you

One is made by Mazda and the other by Subaru

 

Kidding, what specifically are you looking to learn? Performance, reliability, etc? There are a lot of differences between those cars but if you have a specific area you want to understand let us know. You will get more focused and helpful responses.

Are you looking at the Mazdaspeed3? That's what would be comparable.

As far as performance, since you do not have the AWD on the Speed3 the WRX is going to put down better numbers in 0-60 and quarter mile times. I believe in general the WRX has slightly better handling in terms of corning grip and stability. The Speed is also going to have some torque steer due to the power and only being FWD. Do you have goals/plans to modify the car or are you just looking to keep it stock?

I test drove both the Mazdaspeed 3 and the WRX. There really isnt much to be compared as the WRX was Hands down a much better car in terms of handling, acceleration, and quality of the interior. If I had to choose between the two, id buy subaru every time. good luck with your search!
