i know members have previously discussed the "correct" dimensions for tire size, width, and offset.

i have an awesome set of rims but the problem is the offset - its +35.

can someone please explain why +35 wont fit, or fit properly on the subbie gt?

what exactly happens when its on

i want to buy rubber but i dont want to waste money on rims and tires that wont fit bc i dindt do my hjomework

anybody with any insight please help a newbie out?

I just test fitted my 18x8.5 +35 offset ESR rims before I installed the 265/35/18 tires and there is mass amounts of room for the tires and even when I lowered the rims down on blocks to see how close it was to the oem spring perch I have plenty of room for the tires to fit just need to pull and roll the fenders a little bit

I installed my wheels after installing my Continental extreme contact sports 265/35/18 roll / 3/4" pull on rear quarters and same in front

Clearing all components not rubbing at any point

For more more room on outside of wheel well could go with a 245/35/18
