TexasLegacy2.5GT
Not sure if I blew a fuse here but since I just replaced the one for my Lighter/power mirrors but the Hazard switch doesn't light up anymore. I have two of them so I decided to test the back up as well and neither of the lights turn on with the interior lights. All the rest of my dash cluster and HVAC work perfectly its only that one switch. When I first installed it it worked perfect I don't know when it stopped working. Matty2Hotty
I too been trying to figure out the hazards on ours. Turn signals work, but no turn signals with the hazards pushed in. Hazards dont work pushed in or not. Replaced the hazard button with no luck, even tried the turn signal/hazard relay right behind the hood release. Fuses are all good. Had this problem ever since we got the car.
TexasLegacy2.5GT
I bet I burnt out something. I'll go buy a voltage tester to see if the plug is kicking out juice from all the connectors. I hate little BS like this. I'll figure it out. TexasLegacy2.5GT
Then outta nowhere...Lord... Maybe it was the Alarm that starts the car. I've been using it intermittently in the night time to keep the defroster on the car on so it doesn't freeze over. Who knows. Still a mystery.. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee134/Rubenjc111/ED650ACA-ADD6-4987-9F03-4837391481FD-3550-000001F15C42F0C0_zps55b9b632.jpg
Scruffy
kinda dumb question, did you check the bulb? The bulbs are tiny so even gentle bumps coupled with time kill them all. So feasibly a surge of power could burn them out. I pulled almost 20 hazard switches from the second gens at the yard and found every one to be blown. If that is the case just replace it with the bulb from a fog/defrost switch. But you'll have to transfer the base. but cheaper and faster than any other option. TexasLegacy2.5GT
Scruff, thanks man. I think it was the alarm acting weird on the car. The bulb turned on this PM. Moody ass car..

Battery, Brake, AT Temp, ??? Do the extras serve any purpose?
Stang70Fastback
Some of it is probably future proofing so that the addition of new features in later model years did not necessitate a design change. Some of it is also probably for features only available in certain markets. For example, I know at one point "power mode" was only available on JDM vehicles and would have had an associated light on the dash.
