santiagolopez00
Is anyone running the $150 downpipe with gaskets sold on Ebay? How did the install go? The seller is justspeed out of california. I can't seem to find much info. Thanks for the feedback if you have installed one or are running one?
idiot4hire
I used one on my 2002 wrx and it's still going with its new owner. I had it installered for me by one of my friends. It fit fine he just had to get creative making it fit my cat back. I think he used some exhaust part off a 94 accord. Also he re used my oem gaskets he said the ones it came with were not as good. I use a cnt/erz downpipe now, its a great budget piece
Brett
you get what you pay for. alot of good deals are in the fs thread for dp's. i got an invidia catless for $
scoobyscoodle
DP's are easy to install and a crappy one won't really hurt anything aside from fitment. I'm sure you'd be fine. I wouldn't give the same advice for any other part really though. Honestly though, you'd be happier with the CNT piece.
adosdrummer
I got an ebay 3in one. I have a big sanding wheel that I used to true up the flanges a little, and the bracket to the transmission was off. But other than that its great for the price, I also wrapped mine to keep the tin sound down.
Nrw
As with everything, you get what you pay for. Cheapest I'd personally go is Invidia, but I am that picky.
