CRAZY KEN
...I remember a couple of people doing this. The seats gotta have side airbags or this won't work. Who has it? Show yourselves! I am sick and tired of these unsupportive seats. CRAZY KEN
Track
Sorry to be slightly off topic, but trust me, the STI seats are worse than the LGT seats. I hate them. Get the 3 ohm resistors from various vendors (like SoJDM) and go aftermarket.
CRAZY KEN
...Can you be more detailed? Links Please? "Get the 3 ohm resistors from various vendors (like SoJDM) and go aftermarket." I want to do this...and it's cheaper too! CRAZY KEN
Detslider
http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2059384&postcount=200 The STi seats I installed had a side airbag in them already. Connectors were the same underneath the seat. Once everything was hooked up and the battery was reattached (pulled the negative during install just in case); everything was fine and no airbag light. To test the system, I pulled the connector off for the passenger side airbag and the "Airbag" light on the dash did in fact come on. Pulled the battery again and reconnected the seat, re-did the battery, and no issues. Been about two months now (and 4500 miles) with no issues. Passenger side still senses passengers correctly (seat belt chime and airbag light). As far as I see it...no issues at all and I love these seats. GTSPECB STI
oem seats on my Liberty are pretty damn comfortable and hold you in reasonably well. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j60/Aussiedave_2006/MY07%20Liberty%20GTB%20STI/LiboLeather015.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j60/Aussiedave_2006/MY07%20Liberty%20GTB%20STI/LiboLeather012.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j60/Aussiedave_2006/MY07%20Liberty%20GTB%20STI/LiboLeather018.jpg

Siper2
Australia. I agree that the WRX/STi seats are a serious downgrade.
Detslider
...where can I get a set of those puppies? CRAZY KEN Assuming you have leather seats already it would probably be much cheaper to just have your seats restitched.
