subydoobyd00 Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Hey guys, I got a 97 legacy GT. When I try to start it, it gets power, all the lights on and everything. It's not the battery cause it's new, and it's not the starter cause I just replaced it in the parking lot and it does the exact same thing. I can also hear my starter relay that's connected to my ignition click when I turn the key, so i'm pretty sure that's working. I do however, have what I believe to be, a stock security system. Wheelbuilder_25 Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Do the cables look good ? Sometimes they get corrosion down inside the insulation. Maybe the neutral switch if it's a stick, or the park/neutral switch on an auto is malfunctioning. My 97OB like to hang up with the neutral switch.
