White headlights

I'm looking to get new bulbs for my headlights. I would like for the headlights and fog lights to be the same color. anyone know a good set?

Diode Dynamics (paul mccain is his user name here) also sells a good HID kit for less than $100. I got some 6000k from him not too long ago, and they're awesome. They also have 3000k (yellow) HIDs for the fogs.

I have 8000K.... theyre blue and not what you want. they look sick though

5000k or 6000k is the best way to go if you want a true white beam. The 6000s have some tinge of blue at the edges, but if you look at a color chart you'll see that its almost dead in the middle of the white spectrum. Much lower and you're in the yellow, much higher and you're in the blue.

 

But you can't get direct plug in headlights that are in that range, you'll need an HID kit. But HID kits are super easy to install. The hardest part is finding someplace to mount the ballasts, but a little 3M double stick foam automotive tape takes care of that.

I have 4300K's. They have a hint of blue but shine white as hell on the road.

i have 6k in my car now because thats what the car came with however I had 5k in my WRX and I loved the output. I would do 5k again over any other color its a ever so slight blue but its very strong for output.

I have 6k headlight bulbs, and 3k fog light bulbs,

3k from DDM

 

both work like a champ

6k 55W DDM HIDs here. the 55W flushes out some color, so they look like 5k. Bright as hell, would highly recommend.

DDM is definitely the way to go. I'm running with the 4500k 35w and the are great!

Do i need to buy a separate kit for high beams and low beams? Am i getting this right that if i want to change all my lights i'll need two kits for the headlights and one kit for the fog lights?
