AM-FM work without problem.. But no more cd.. cd charger, ... Eject, Load, .. nothing work.. all dead.. I check the connector in the back.. everything is plug in.. ??

I did't do nothing special.. I just remove the radio, to pass some wire behind it.. and I went to get my 12v accesories on one of the wire that was going to the radio .. nothing special. No amps add to the circuit.. just my 12v accesories..

!S4.. What he as done. the CD player just stop like that, or it was after a modification ?

I didn't do any modifications, but what happened is I changed to disc two, and before it was even done changing I hit eject thinking it'd queue the command. I don't know if that was just a coincidence or what, but after hearing some clunking, nothing happened and it switched to radio. I could intermitently select CD after that and try ejecting the disc, I'd hear a few clunks, and then it'd switch back to FM. I think mine was a mechanical failure.

Perhaps when you were moving the CD player, you shifted the discs around inside it and something got jammed?

Thanks for the infos.. at least, you had it under warranty. I probably did a mistake by moving the radio , without removing the disc.. but, I did move it really slowly, because, I did not want to scratch the face of the radio against the shifter rod.

grrr.. dammit..

have to call the dealer I guess.

Note for anyone taking out the stereo: Remove all discs BEFORE removing the unit.

Try taking the power off your radio (unplug the harness to reset it). Just a thought, you probably already tried it.

Easier yet is pulling the fuse for the stereo. It's easy to find, I did it in the dark with just a flashlight. Once I pulled the fuse, I hit the power on button a couple times to make sure it was completely drained, then put the fuse back in. Didn't work for me, but it may in this instance.

Yououoou.. good news..

I have decided to remove it for the last time.. Since I was having in mind that probably the cd was jam... I remove the radio (for the 6 time app).. but those time, I have decided to give the "ultime last ressort all arround fix solution" I hit the s** of bi***.. replug.. dont work.. Again.. replug.. bling bling.. CD goes on.. I heard all the system .. eject all the 6 CD. and everything works now.. ;)

Lucky day I guess. lol..

I guess the CD player is very picky to vibrations and heat.. sometimes my CDs skip and starts to seek through the CD while I am driving.. it sucks but hey, I have a better stereo system in the car.. it's called 6000 rpms of pure engine sounds.
