Do used '05 LGT's Sell Fast?

As noted in the title, are they fast sellers? More specific in CA? I hardly ever see them on autotrader or other sites.

 

I just bought a G8 GT, and also have my eye on another Cobra, but will only buy it if I feel comfortable enough that my LGT will sell.

 

It's an '05 LGT (non limited) SWP Auto, with 99K on the clock, BONE STOCK, but dealer maintained, and just out of Extended warranty.

 

I was thinking of putting it up for between 10-11k.

 

What do you think???

I don't know about the specifics but I had my eye on three LGT's that got sold with in the day of me getting the money for them. PA winter's would be my guess for the reasoning

Would my mileage scare anyone off? I'm the original owner, and again dealer maintained.

I bought mine in January basically the day after the dealer put it up on their website.

same here i bought mine within three days of it being posted and i was lucky enough to be first in line. auto's go quick and a 5spd forget abt it.....very hard to find

They do go very fast, i have been looking for one for the past few months and they dont stay around long enough for me to buy them. I would assume yours would sell just as fast

Bought mine essentially the day after the dealer got it... the title had not even been transferred from the previous owner yet. For the right price, it will sell real quick.

Don't think CA is a subaru state. Doesn't make sense for most of it because its dry and gas is overpriced.

 

That said the resell value on a salvage vehicle is very high as well as I think my buy back price was around 4-5K for an 05 LGT MT Limited. So there probably is a pretty decent market for it.

Considering the amount of people here that wants a wagon it would probably sell quickly if it was.

My biggest problem wasn't finding an LGT, it was finding one that was all ragged out. I looked for over a year before I found one I liked. If your's isn't ragged out, should be a quick seller.

i bought mine in march at a dealer, and it was the only LGT on the lot, new or used. as i was signing the paperwork to pick it up, another person came in to try to buy it.

Spec.B disappears really fast. I was looking at a Spec.B one weekend and the next day, it was gone. It looked pretty ragged out and modded to hell as well. I guess the buyer didn't really care.

It was pure luck that I found mine. Was going to the dealer to buy a wrx I found on their website. when I got there the wrx was gone and they were pulling a lgt off the delivery truck. I ended up with the leggy.

I bought my current LGT here on the forums. The previous owner took meticulous care of it and bought it at a great price. It really depends on the condition it's in too.

 

I was willing to purchase an LGT up to 100k and willing to travel afar to get it. After looking around for months I still didn't find any. Then the holy classified forum shine upon me

I drove over 2 hrs to get mine, brand new in '05. It was one of the last '05 GT Limited in NoCal at the time.

 

There will be buyers, and it should sell fast.

I get offers on my 05 LGT(Base,manual trans.) all the time. I can't fill the gas tank without getting a comment or an offer on it. I would think a clean one (mine is pretty clean,with rims,and suspension,but no engine mods) would sell really easy. If you live somewhere it snows,it easier to sell.

I didn't buy my car salvaged. I bought it new and it got totaled and my friend was considering buying it back so I asked the insurance company the price.

 

What I was saying before was CA or at least so cal doesn't seem like there's a market as I visit often and never see any evos or subarus. CO is where all the subarus are...along with all the god damn SUV drivers and the worst drivers on the on the road.

I am like everyone else. I was at the dealership the day they got mine in. I don't remember if I bought it the next day or 2 days after. I think I signed for it the next day and took my own financing 2 days later but regardless it didn't last.

Thanks for all the input! This is making me breathe a little easier thinking about buying another car before selling this one.

I did. Bought it back in March 2011 with 77,8xx miles from the original owner. It now has 81,1xx miles.

Mine was used but had 41k on it when I bought mine in Febtober. There were quite a few for sale before that I thought about but I was picky about it.

Ours was on a used car lot for 6 months. Went from 19k to 15.9 in 5 minutes of talking.

I got mine used. 05 non limited 5 speed. It sat on the lot for about 3 days. I got it in 06 with 13K miles for $18,800. It now has 63K miles. It is the same car I almost bought new in 05. The dealer went down to $25K and I was at $23K. Saved some nice coin by waiting a year.
