08leggy
So I over torqued one of my strut mount bolts and broke the thread is it safe to drive with just 2 out of 3 bolted down?
abakja1
Pound it out with a heavy hammer or drill out and place a new bolt in there... I did this for my front coilover...
08leggy
Already ordered a new hub from the stealership. I'm having springs installed soon so the new hub can go in with them not a problem. In the meantime I took my strut bar off and was able to get just enough bolt to get a nut onto for the one that broke. It should be fine.
EROCK
Fairly safe...drive conservatively and you'll be fine. I did that myself the night before an autox back in the day on my wrx. I freaked out (ended up pilfering a friends tophat).
