flinbmx
I'm shipping my 05 LGT wagon 5spd to my brother in law in Pennsylvania. The car has Perrin up and down pipes and flashed Stage 2 with a Cobb Accessport V1. Will it pass PA emissions test?
Rester5350
As long as its not throwing any codes. Is it cat less, where about in PA ?
flinbmx
Yeah, it is catless. I had the up/down pipes installed at Fred Beans but I'm shipping the car to Pittsburgh.
Rester5350
IT should be fine, as long as they don't use the sniffer. I haven't had any problems with mine. Also have him look for a more performance oriented shop, that way they won't even bat an eye.
Subie_Mick
Depending on where in PA he lives will be the answer to this. If doesn't live in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) or Philly he will be fine. The counties with the high population have a seperate emissions test the sniffer... All other counties of PA it is visual inspection only.
Rester5350
That's what I figured. I live outside of Philly, for emissions the just hookup to the computer. If the car is not throwing a cel it should be fine.
flinbmx
My brother in law lives in Allegheny County at the moment but may be moving to Washington County. Is anyone running stage 2 catless downpipe in Allegheny or Philadelphia and passing the sniffer?
