wraedeohed
I've looked on the forum, and all I've found is one for the 4th Gen cars. Is there a defeat that doesn't involve taking apart the dash for our cars?
cww516
As far as I've seen, you have to have access to the plug in the back of the head unit, so probably not. You might be able to pick up the wire that needs to be grounded elsewhere, but you'd have to be careful not to accidentally send something a ground signal at the wrong time, and you'd have to tear more stuff apart to get to that wire anyway. Unsp0kn
Just take the head unit out, it takes about 3 minutes. Use these instructions, it's very simple.2010 Legacy HK Nav Mod.pdf
Tidal
I heard the 5th gen nav radios use the gps signal to detect motion making it almost impossible to defeat the motion sensing.
cww516
I believe the '13+ head units might, but not the '10-'12, just have to ground one of the pins on the main plug. Not positive, but my guess is that the wire in question gets a ground signal from the BIU when the parking brake is set.
1of1547
Dumb question on this ground wire. Does anyone know the length of the wire and the size of the ground stud? I want to make the wire ahead of time so I can just plug and play. Thanks
