TXLegacy
The horn on my 2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5i has been beeping intermittenly when I hit a bump or when I accelerate rapidly from a stop. I had to hit the horn hard today and the horn ended up staying on. I have done some research and they said it was a clock spring causing the issue. My question is, should you also replace the air bag or is that unnecessary?
GTEASER
clock spring has nothing to do with the air bag, although you do need to remove the airbag to get to it. acumenhokie
If you just need an OEM horn I'm sure there are lots floating around. Anyone who upgraded to the Supertones has the stock horns sitting around.
